Visit Match.com and you have the ability to register free to post a photo and portrait on the site, and if you want to contact another user you will need to upgrade to a paid subscription.

PARSHIP.co.uk is the UK's first compatibility-based online dating service, specifically for people who want to form a lasting relationship. This is the British branch of Europe's largest and most successful serious online dating service now with millions of members who are predominantly affluent, educated men and women between 28 and 55 years old. Basic membership is free, so if this sounds like your kind of site then you've nothing to lose by signing up for free.
In our opinion 'Free' Internet Dating sites are a waste of time (see Paid vs Free Sites for why we think that), but if you want to try one, the best and by far the biggest is Plenty of Fish.
